Have you contacted your Local Authority to request an assessment of your needs as a carer who is providing care and support to a partner, friend or a member of your family?
You could be entitled to help and support.

Call your local council and request a carers assessment.
[typography font=”Crimson Text” size=”24″ size_format=”px”] Financial Eligibility[/typography] The local authority will complete the assessment of your needs with you and if they confirm you are eligible for services will carry out a financial assessment to determine the level of funding you may be entitled to. If funding is agreed then you will be able to decide how you want to purchase your services. This may be managed by giving you a Personal Budget that allows you to spend the money in a way that helps you.

Valuing Care has been working with buyers of care services for 8 years: we know how to analyse the actual costs of care compared to the price being charged and can, if required, help you negotiate the service at a fair price. Any type of care service can be negotiated.
If you are a carer and would like to talk to one of our team either phone the office on 01273 757233 or complete our contact form
